The crisp air of Fall greeted Cinniapolitans early this year with a rare cold snap to close out August. The high temperatures hovering in the mid-50s easily broke records from past cold fronts during Cinniapolis summers. Is this is a sign of a chilly Autumn? CNPS-TV Lead Meteorologist, Fran Dimple, says, “Not exactly.”
Ms. Dimple continued, “Cinniapolis is heading for a pretty regular Fall season. We’re forecasting temperatures right around the expected averages for this time of year. September started off hot but say goodbye to Summer temps over the next several days. Our expected rainfall will be a touch below average. We’ll be keeping an eye on a late November development that could bring us some snow in time for Thanksgiving.”
Coming off a hotter than usual Summer, Cinniapolitans are welcome to an impending cool down, “This Summer was awesome. I spent so much time at Lake Sinnissippi this year, I can’t believe it. The whole Summer was a blur. But, I’m happy to hear Fall will be normal. I want to open up my windows again,” said Ridley Morris.
The weather is set up to cooperate with traditional Cinniapolis Autumn activities this year. Get out there and ride a horse, or pick some apples, or just sit back and enjoy a hayride at Five Families Farms. But, remember, weather can change at a moment’s notice. Stay tuned to CNPS-TV, CNPS Radio, and CNPS Stream for the most up-to-date Cinniapolis weather forecasts.
