The CNPS-TV meteorology team presents good news for the Autumn 2022 forecast, if you like cooler temps and snowfall in the October and Novembers months. Unfortunately for those preferring Summer temps that last well into November, this Fall may resemble Winter more than Summer.

The CNPS-TV Storm Squad predicts snow arriving in mid-October. While snow this time of year is quickly here then gone, lead meteorologist Fran Dimple says early forecast models are showing heavy snow in mid-October. “The models seem to agree more and more that Cinniapolis will see snow accumulation prior to Halloween. Some of us may be dressing up as Jack or Jacqueline Frost this year, if the models are correct,” she said. While snowfall is nothing new in October or November, the first snow of the year happening in October will be sure to shock Cinniapolitans. We reached out to Mayor Gondola’s office to gauge the readiness of his administration to promptly clear the streets and sidewalks of snow. His team affirmed they are ready with salt and their new fleet of electric snow plow trucks.

As the Autumn months approach and the holiday season sets in, we may have to dust off our snow boots earlier than normal this year and set our shovels next to the rakes. But, let’s hope our local cattle emissions warm the atmosphere just enough to keep the snow in December, January and February, where it belongs.
