This year, Summer introduced itself early with a handful of above average temperature days in late Spring. The theme will continue as Summer rolls in. Cinniapolis citizens can expect above average temperatures as experts predict heatwaves to invade Cinniapolis this Summer. Rainfall is expected to be below average, making for dry, hot Summer months with possible drought conditions. Although, there is a chance for thunderstorms to develop as heatwaves are escorted in and out by blustering winds throughout the season.
Everyone should be prepared for possible wildfires caused by air to ground dry lightning strikes. The anticipated dry conditions in heavily wooded areas will be proper tinder for any lightning bolts that reach the ground. While storms are predicted with minimal frequency, it only takes one lightning strike to start a fire. Depending on the wind speeds, a spark can grow into a full-fledged wildfire very quickly. However, CNPS-TV lead meteorologist, Fran Dimple, is here to diminish the doom and gloom of a predicted arid, blazing summer, “It is going to be hot with plenty of sunshine. Perfect beach weather and a great time to check out the beaches of Lake Sinnissippi. But, remember to take appropriate precautions to beat the heat with frequent cooling breaks, sunblock, and be sure to stay hydrated.”
It sounds like Cinniapolis is in for a sizzling summer. Stay cool out there and be on alert for any heat and storm advisories from the CNPS-TV meteorology team.
