Spring 2024 Forecast

The calm, cool Winter is almost finished. What does this mean for Spring 2024? Well, it appears the cool temperatures are here for several more weeks, with a chance for some rare frequent Spring snow. This is welcomed news with certain areas of Cinniapolis nearing drought conditions after a rather dry 2023 weather cycle.

“We’re forecasting plenty of sunshine this Spring. Although folks may have to travel outside this region for warmer temps. Currently, our models agree that the average high temperatures in Cinniapolis this Spring will range from 46°F to just 51°F. This a far cry from Spring ’23 where the Spring high temperatures averaged 63°F and we saw record-breaking temperatures in the 80’s for a stretch. This year, we’ll even see some Spring snow. In other words, keep those parkas and sweaters nearby,” said CNPS lead meteorologist Fran Dimple.

Although, not all citizens are welcoming a cold Spring. “It’s this stupid Mayor messing with our atmosphere. Cinniapolis had reliable, cyclical climate change before the boyking (Mayor Gondola) implemented his extreme policies, weakening the population’s spirit and weakening our climate. I want strong, to very strong temperatures. None of these below average weak temperatures. Cinniapolis is at a breaking point and messing with our climate might be the final blow before a popular revolt,” said Waldo Penney, owner of Penney’s Fish Market and longtime critic of Mayor Gondola.

Here’s to a prolonged mix of Winter and Spring continuing into the late Spring months. This hybrid pattern of Winter and Spring weather started last October. As of today, it appears it could last through June. The Summer heat is going to feel good this year, if this cool pattern ever decides to take a break.
