Autumn 2023 Forecast

The CNPS-TV meteorology team presents good news for the Autumn 2023 forecast, if you like warmer temps through the October and November months. Unfortunately for those preferring Winter temps that arrive as early as October, this Fall might not meet those expectations.

CNPS-TV Lead Meteorologist, Fran Dimple assessed the long-range forecast for this Autumn, “We’re going to see an extension of the dry, arid Summer taking place. Not much precipitation is expected. It’ll be more important than ever this year to responsibly to clean up fallen foliage regularly to avoid these dry leaves catching an ember from neighborhood bonfires which could lead to rapidly spreading wildfires across our dry landscape.”

Cinniapolis Fire Protection Services issued a statement last week concerning the growing number of fires around the area, “It’s tough to predict where a fire can start and spread. But, citizens can do their part by keeping their yards clean and responsibly having controlled bonfires. This is not a game, put out that flame.”

While Cinniapolis did not experience any micro dust storms this Summer, the potential conditions linger for this phenomena to occur this Autumn too. As always, stay tuned in to the Chorus for up-to-date forecasts and local analysis on the ever-changing weather patterns of Cinniapolis.
