Before the first take-home meal kit could be sold, Fowler Chophouse announced on their CNPS Stream that they will no longer be offering any take-home meal kits that include meat. They will also not be selling any cuts of meat for customers to take home.
The video noted that they were in contact with the recently reinstated Cinniapolis Police Department (CPD), who informed them that they would be liable for any violations of “The Human and Home Health Act”, which bans the production, sale, purchase, and consumption of natural meat anywhere with a Cinniapolis zip code. Under this new act, Fowler Chophouse was warned authorities would hold them liable if their products were used to break this new law.
“We successfully partnered with Cinniapolis over 6 decades, we don’t want our final days to be combative with the local law enforcement. Although, we understand Thick Pickins and Dragg (Meat and Dairy) are able to continue their meat sales through September 4th. We will comply with CPD’s request and appreciate their advanced notice on the future enforcement of this new law,” said a Fowler Chophouse spokesman.
The restrictions seemed like folly several weeks ago when they were announced. But, the reality of those restrictions are now arriving to Cinniapolitans doorsteps. For those who intend to continue cooking up and consuming their meats, it looks as though CPD will be on your doorsteps too.
