Fowler Chophouse Meal Kit Giveaway

Fowler Chophouse is offering free meal kits to all Cinniapolitans, courtesy of Mayor Gondola. A spokesperson for the restaurant confirmed in an email to the Chorus that the Mayor is loosening his purse strings to pick up a meal for his city. When reached for comment, the Mayor played coy, “Well, I think it’s a nice gesture, nothing more than that. I’m grateful to the staff at Fowler’s for working extra hours to prep these kits for our wonderful city. And, I’m grateful to our residents for plugging along over the past few years. It hasn’t been easy navigating a pandemic, inflation, and other disruptive events,” he said. When confronted with the conflict-of-interest aspect to his sudden generosity, he said, “It’s an avenue for me to give back, that’s all. This has been in the works with Fowler’s for several weeks. We had hoped to roll it out in time for the holiday season but it wasn’t achievable. This is my way to say ‘thank you’ to our city.”

The meal kit giveaway begins tonight and lasts through February 28th, the day of the Mayoral special election. To receive your free meal kit, simply sign on to the Fowler Chophouse website (or create your account) and select ‘Take-Home Meal’ option. From there, you’ll have your choice of 4 meals. All meals have a soup and salad option. Steak, chicken, fish, or portabella mushroom are the main course options, accompanied with assorted veggies and potato sides. Lastly, a piece of chocolate cake is included for dessert. Each kit comes with complete meal prep instructions, feeding 2-3 people, depending on appetite size.

For those conflicted on accepting what appears to be a solicitation from Mayor Gondola for a vote in February, relax, go get your free meal from one of the globe’s best steakhouses, enjoy your meal with family and friends, and remember to vote with your brain and not your belly. Keep your fingers crossed that the other candidates will be bit with the generosity bug too, keeping the free goods and services flowing for Cinniapolis.
