Bovines Bombed

The Dragg farm cattle herd was bombed last night in an apparent escalation of violence surrounding Cinniapolis’s climate agenda. Sources allege a group of intruders infiltrated the Dragg farm property, located within the Five Families Farms compound, and affixed explosives to as many cows as possible before being chased off by private security. As the private security team was returning to the cattle pen to investigate the scene, several explosions were set off shooting cow guts skyward.

Cinniapolis Safety Department (CSD) CEO Rhonda Dixon gave a brief statement to the media, “We are actively investigating the scene at Mr. Dragg’s property. We are deeply disturbed by the event and are pursuing all leads aggressively. There is no danger to the public at this time,” she said. Ms. Dixon had no comment on the allegation of the bombers shouting their allegiance to the Private Citizens activist group nor reported shouts from the bombers about “cancelling red meat”.

The Chorus received no response from Mayor Gondola’s office. They would not comment on the record concerning an active investigation. This continues a pattern of Mayor Gondola’s elongated absence from the public after his controversial State of the City address several weeks ago. Since his address, there was a riot culminating in the burning down of the historic Cinniapolis Performing Arts Theatre, an uptick in meat associated theft, and now this horrific bombing of animals. All of which have resulted in no public comments from Mayor Gondola.

Gregory Dragg, the owner of Dragg Meat and Dairy and Dragg’s family farm, is desperate for a leadership change, “These murders cannot be tolerated. When is enough, enough? This administration’s dangerous policies and rhetoric regarding climate have now put innocent animals in the crosshairs of government endorsed maniacs. It’s mob rule in Cinniapolis against a toothless, unwilling CSD and the failing administration that removed law and order from our city. There are no longer consequences for this type of behavior which is making Cinniapolis a dangerous place,” he said.
