Mysterious Creature Injures Arn Murphy

Arn Murphy was out for an evening bike ride when he claims to have been attacked by a vicious creature. Mr. Murphy suffered minor cuts and bruises but escaped without a major injury. The incident occurred on the bike path located in the Reunion forest preserve. Although as of this writing there were no witnesses or video footage to corroborate Mr. Murphy’s allegations, he insists the attacker was not a human.

“Listen, if this was a human, I would’ve been able to confront him. But, it wasn’t human. It was hairy, slimy and had a hunger for my flesh,” said Mr. Murphy, “I had no doubt it would have bit my arm right off. It was covered in black coarse hair and it had giant teeth. Each tooth was the size of coffee mug. They weren’t human teeth. It wasn’t human,” he said. He claimed the attacker knocked him off his bike, grabbed his arm and tried to bite his arm off. “I was on my back and the beast had a hold of my arm. Luckily, it had a loose grip in its slippery hands and I was able to escape. I ran away as fast as I could, without turning back. The sound, the sound of its teeth smashing into one another from a missed bite. I’ll never forget it. It sounded like billiard balls crashing into each other,” he said.

The Chorus confirmed the CSD and the HSL have not received any reports fitting the description or actions of Mr. Murphy’s alleged attacker. As skepticism and conspiracies cloud any piece of news involving the Murphy or Gondola families, Mr. Murphy maintains this wasn’t a motivated assault. “C’mon, no way. If it was a weak Gondola operative, I wouldn’t have even been knocked off my bike. I’m telling you, this wasn’t human,” Mr. Murphy said. As for those that claim this was a publicity stunt, “Look, I don’t even like bike riding. I have to ride a bike, doctor’s orders to alleviate anxiety,” he said.

Nonetheless, someone or something allegedly knocked Mr. Murphy off his bike and tried to take a bite out of him. If anyone has any video or eyewitness testimony of the incident, please forward to the CCIT.
