This morning, the judges were announced for the 2022 annual Cinniapolis Prep Uniform Design Showcase. Yvonne Grey, founder of YFH, will lead the panel of 3 judges rounded out by the 2022 St. Boris 8th grade valedictorian, Iris Dimple, and the 2022 Cinniapolis Elementary valedictorian, Brucie Murphy. The panel will select a winner after the finalist’s fashion shows debut their designs.

Ms. Grey, last year’s winner, accepted the lead judge position keeping the tradition of the previous year’s winner as part of the panel. Mr. Murphy accepted the invitation as part of his duties as the Cinni Elementary valedictorian, “I’m a little nervous but I hope to have fun picking a winner,” he said. Ms. Dimple also accepted her invitation to fulfill her duties as the St. Boris valedictorian, “I can’t wait to see the designs for this year. I’m very excited,” she said.

This year’s design finalists are Art Weston, Freda Oppo, and LaToya Panters. Mr. Weston is the odds-on favorite being the most established designer of the group. However, the most qualified does not always win. Stay tuned into the Chorus for a full recap of Cinniapolis Fashion Week.
